Bassirou Ndiaye has joined AS Cannes from Lorient. The Senegalese forward has signed with the Cannes side, which plays in National 2. The transfer was made official this Friday, August 1, by both clubs.

Bassirou Ndiaye arrives at AS Cannes on a free transfer after completing his spell at FC Lorient. Having arrived in Brittany in 2022, the Senegalese striker played with Lorient's reserve team in National 3, but was unable to secure a regular spot with the first team.

The Senegalese youth international now finds a new opportunity at AS Cannes to reignite his career in National 2. The Alpes-Maritimes club, ambitious for the 2025-2026 season, is counting on Bassirou Ndiaye’s profile to strengthen their attacking line. He will wear the number 3 jersey.
