A leading member of the transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Barcelona has come to the decision to turn off the public comments on his social media platforms.

The player in question? Federico Chiesa.

Wide-man Chiesa has of course seen his name dominate the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several days now.

This comes amid mounting claims that the Barcelona brass, amid their ongoing search for reinforcements on the wing, are giving serious consideration to launching a move for the Italian international.

The prospect of as much has been, for the most part, positively received on the part of the Blaugrana faithful, evidently in agreement with the club’s board that signing a new left winger should be considered something of a priority before the transfer window slams shut.

And such supporters have not been at all shy in making their hopes clear to Chiesa himself, too.

As showcased below, the comments section of the 26-year-old’s official Instagram platform has been inundated with messages over the last couple of days, pleading with Chiesa to take his talents to the Camp Nou.

So much so that, as per Barca Universal on ‘X’, the out-of-favour Juventus man has limited who can comment on his posts:
