Barcelona star suffers injury vs Alavés | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Sunday been dealt a blow on the personnel front.

This comes after a member of the club’s attacking ranks was forced into an early departure from the club’s latest outing.

Barca are of course currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

As things stand during the first-half at Mendizorroza, the Blaugrana find themselves in possession of the advantage on the scoreline, owing to the latest goal netted by star frontman Robert Lewandowski.

As alluded to above, however, it has not been all smooth sailing for Hansi Flick’s troops in Vitoria-Gasteiz thus far.

This comes after Ferran Torres suffered a concerning injury blow.

Inside the opening five minutes of action on Sunday, frontman Ferran, afforded his third start on the spin this afternoon, pulled up clutching his hamstring.

From here, the former Manchester City man was swiftly replaced by Eric García, visibly upset as he made his way from the field of play.

It now remains to be seen whether or not Ferran is facing up to any sort of extended spell on the sidelines.
