A head-turning statistic has come to the fore in the aftermath of Barcelona’s dominant victory over RCD Mallorca on Tuesday.

This comes amid confirmation that members of Hansi Flick’s squad now occupy 1st and 2nd place in both the top scorer and assist-maker charts in La Liga this season.

Barcelona are of course fresh off a timely return to winning ways.

After making the trip to Son Moix for a meeting with Mallorca last night, the Blaugrana ran riot, en route to an eventual 5-1 triumph.

Raphinha proved the star of the show when it came to goalscoring, notching a brace, with Lamine Yamal’s stunning 2nd-half trivela assist having lit up the clash, too.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of both continuing their respective pushes for major individual honours in La Liga in 2024/25.

When it comes to the race for top scorer in Spain’s top-flight, Robert Lewandowski leads the way on 15 goals, with Raphinha sitting 2nd on 11.

In the assist column, meanwhile, Lamine sits atop the pile with eight to his name, two clear of the in-form Raphinha on six.
