La Liga giants Barcelona have on Tuesday been lavished in praise, by an upcoming opponent.

Barca, of course, are primed to return to action tomorrow night, when Hansi Flick’s troops make the trip to Serbia for a Champions League meeting with Red Star Belgrade.

The Blaugrana head into the matchup in the midst of a scintillating recent stretch of form, to the tune of six successive victories across all competitions.

And one individual well aware of the uphill task facing his side in getting the better of the Catalans on Wednesday comes in the form of Red Star head coach Vladan Milojević.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference this afternoon, Milojević was asked for his take on Barcelona’s excellence across the early months of the campaign.

And the Serbian tactician did not hesitate in stating:

“The best team in Europe is coming to us. Barcelona are at their peak in all phases of the game.”
