A leading member of the board at La Liga champions Barcelona this week sat down for a fresh round of discussions with a delegation from Saudi outfit Al-Nassr.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Rafa Yuste as the individual in question.
Yuste, for his part, currently acts as the vice-president at the Spotify Camp Nou.
The Spaniard has been in the position for the last four years, having been appointed back in March of 2021.
And over the time since, Yuste has played a central role in both the day-to-day running, and high-profile business dealings of Barcelona.
With such endeavours, though, comes inevitable outside interest.
Across the summer to date, it has been widely reported that Yuste has emerged as a man in-demand in the Middle East.
And as alluded to above, this week, as much culminated in a new round of talks between the 63-year-old, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.
As per a report from Diario Sport:
‘A Saudi delegation travelled to Barcelona to meet with Rafa Yuste, vice-president and head of the Barça sports area. Al-Nassr’s interest in the Catalan leader is still on the table, although the dialogue on this occasion was carried out by Saudi representatives.’
It now remains to be seen if the financial package laid out is enough to convince Yuste to take his talents to the Saudi Pro League.
