Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer reportedly told a fan he ‘loves’ the club during his trip to Wembley on Sunday for the women’s FA Cup final. The greedy Glazer was in London to see United’ women win their first-ever major trophy after thrashing Tottenham.

Goals from Ella Toone, Rachel Williams and a brace from Lucia Garcia meant United could come away from Wembley with the trophy as well as a 4-0 win.

Glazer was sat in the Royal Box while United’s new part-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, was at Old Trafford surveying matchdays.

Avram reportedly made it clear on Sunday that the boardroom changes – since Ratcliffe’s buy-in – have not affected his feelings towards the club.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the 63-year-old told a supporter at Wembley: “It’s a big day and I’m happy to be here. I wouldn’t have missed it. I love United. I wouldn’t want to miss this.”

In other words, he still loves using United as a commercial company. Neither he nor his family care for the club and that has always been the case. Just look at the leaks at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

The only thing Avran Glazer loves about United is the money he and his family make from it. They have never cared for sport, despite investing in other forms such as American football and cricket.

United fans have frequently protested against the family’s continued involvement in the club. Unfortunately, Sir Jim Ratcliffe was unable to get rid of them completely but fans hope he can manage that in the not too distant future.
