The St James’ Park crowd saw Alexander Isak score a beautiful goal to open the scoring on 15 minutes, only for a daft penalty late on to gift Dominic Calvert-Lewin the chance to equalise.

This NUFC side should have had the game won long before then though, by far the better against a poor Everton outfit and a failure to take chances costing Newcastle United.
