“UEFA has informed Athletic Club of a fine of €30,000 and a ban on ticket sales for the club’s next away match. However, UEFA has suspended the ticket sales ban for a trial period of two years,” reads the official statement.

“The fine is a consequence of the incidents that occurred at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, in which flares were lit and objects and flares were thrown from the stands by Athletic Club fans.”

“The Club, once it has obtained all the relevant information, will make public the measures that will be taken against the individuals identified in the aforementioned disturbances and, in turn, will exercise the relevant legal actions to transfer the amount of the fine to the individuals responsible.”
