PSG are facing questions in goal, and LOSC Lille’s Lucas Chevalier has emerged as a potential solution. The 22-year-old has drawn interest from several clubs, including Barcelona, who are reportedly ready to compete for the promising French keeper.

Gianluigi Donnarumma remains under contract with PSG through 2026, but his inconsistency has raised doubts about his long-term future. While strong Champions League showings against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal helped steady his form, concerns about his reliability haven’t completely gone away.

With a renewed emphasis on building around young French talent, this offseason could mark a turning point in PSG’s goalkeeping plans. According to SportsZone, the club are keeping tabs on Chevalier, though any move may hinge on finding a new home for Donnarumma—who has yet to fully convince Luis Enrique.

Manchester United are also in the mix for goalkeeper reinforcements. Per The Sun, they’re monitoring both Chevalier and Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens, especially with growing interest in André Onana from Saudi Arabia.

CaughtOffside reported Friday that Manchester United are keeping an eye on Chevalier as a possible replacement for Onana this summer. However, the report also notes that Aston Villa have already made a move, submitting a bid in the region of £40 million for the French goalkeeper.

Aston Villa appear to be pushing hard to sign the Manchester United and PSG target, with Unai Emery looking for a long-term successor to Emiliano Martinez, whose future at the club remains uncertain.

Recently, Spanish outlet Fichajes reported that Barcelona have recently added Lucas Chevalier to their shortlist of goalkeeper targets. Sporting director Deco is actively searching for a new No. 1, and Chevalier has emerged as a serious candidate.

Still, Barcelona will need to be strategic to make a deal work financially, which could mean offloading one or two players to free up funds.
