Arsenal make the trip to Liverpool to take on the Premier League champions at Anfield.
The Gunners will recognised Liverpool’s title success with a guard of honour, Mikel Arteta has confirmed. Arsenal sit second in the table and are keen to tie up Champions League qualification, with a congested chasing pack behind them.
The North London side head to Merseyside after the disappointment of their defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in midweek. Arsenal lost 2-1 at the Parc des Princes to exit the Champions League at the semi-final stage.
Liverpool are also looking for a response after losing at Chelsea last weekend. The Reds were beaten for just the third time in the Premier League this season at Stamford Bridge.
Mikel Arteta’s options improved in midweek with the return of Riccardo Calafiori and Jorginho to the squad. The former will hope to replace Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back, while Jorginho is targeting farewell appearances ahead of his summer move to Flamengo.
Arsenal remain without Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who will not feature again this season. Kai Havertz is still sidelined with a hamstring injury but could return before the season concludes.
Arsenal predicted XI: Raya; White, Saliba, Kiwior, Calafiori; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Merino, Martinelli.
Liverpool host Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday May 11th 2025. Kick-off at Anfield is 16:30 BST.
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.
