Sevilla’s Loïc Badé has been turning heads, especially following his strong performance for France at the Summer Olympics. His rising profile caught the attention of French national team coach Didier Deschamps, who called him up for the October international break.
As Badé’s stock continues to rise, it’s no surprise that top clubs are taking notice. According to SPORT, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly keeping an eye on the talented defender.
Football Insider also reported on Friday that Newcastle United is working on a move to sign Badé in the January transfer window. The report suggests that the Sevilla defender could be available for between £30 million and £40 million, a more affordable option compared to a potential deal for Marc Guehi.

Sevilla have reportedly set their sights on Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior as a potential replacement, with Badé possibly on his way out.
Kiwior likely needs to leave Arsenal if he wants to secure a regular starting role, and Sevilla could offer him that chance, according to Estadio Deportivo.
The move is being driven by Sevilla’s sporting director, Victor Orta, who previously tried to sign Kiwior in 2023. However, meeting Arsenal’s asking price for a permanent deal might be challenging for Sevilla, so a loan move seems the most realistic option.
