Simons is currently serving his services at RB Leipzig and is doing great. He has already scored three goals and provided two assists in 11 games this season. He is averaging 2 shots, 2.1 key passes, and 2.3 key passes per game (stats via whoscored).
The Dutchman is quite versatile to play at any position in the offensive areas. He has got great control over the ball backed up creative thinking, passing, and good shooting range. He also works hard without the ball and provides his defensive traits.
Arsenal continue to be a force to reckon with under the guidance of Mikel Arteta. They constantly look to bolster their already star-studded squad. Their interest in Xavi Simons shouldn’t surprise anyone considering the qualities the youngster possesses.
The Gunners have struggled in the midfield whenever Martin Odegaard marks his absence. Hence, Simons could be a great addition to the unit as he will provide depth and qualities. The fact that he can also be deployed on the wings, strengthens his case for the English giants.
The 21-year-old is already proving himself at the club level as well as on the international stage. He can be a long-term investment and a star in the making. Notably, Arsenal will have to splash a good amount of money to get the signature of the youngster.
