Arsenal have opened talks with Chelsea over the signing of Noni Madueke, according to reports.

The Athletic say the Gunners have now approached their London rivals to discuss a deal for the 23-year-old, who is said to have already agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

Madueke was a regular for Enzo Maresca’s side last season, playing 46 times including the Club World Cup campaign this summer and scoring 11 goals.

But Chelsea need to sell players after being told by UEFA that they must have a positive transfer balance, the difference in savings from players sold against the costs of players joining, on their list of registered players for the Champions League or face further punishment.

Arsenal’s move for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera is said to have stalled, however, according to the Mirror.

They say the Spanish side want a bigger fee for the 21-year-old, more than £20m, despite his contract running out next year.

The Gunners are expected to announce the signing of Christian Norgaard from Brentford shortly though.

Sky Italy say Inter Milan are keen on Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, meanwhile, who is expected to leave the club this summer.

Elsewhere, Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham worth in the region of £55m, according to the Athletic.

The forward is now set to have a medical at the club.

Spurs are also interested in Brentford striker Yoane Wissa, Sky Sports say.

Wissa scored 19 goals in 35 Premier League games last season and a move to Spurs would see him reunite with former boss Thomas Frank.

The Bees would command a hefty fee for the 28-year-old, and it could have a knock-on effect on Bryan Mbeumo’s deal proposed move to Manchester United because the Bees would be reluctant to lose both players this summer.

Everton have completed a deal to sign Thierno Barry from Villarreal, who has signed a four-year contract with the Toffees.

And Sunderland have completed the signing of winger Chesmine Talbi from Brugges. They have also reportedly agreed a fee to sign Simon Adingra from Brighton for £18m plus £2.5m in add-ons.
