Arsenal have raced out to an impressive four-goal lead away to Sheffield United in a flash in their Premier League clash at Bramall Lane.

Goals from Martin Ødegaard and Gabriel Martinelli on either side of a Jayden Bogle own-goal saw the Gunners become the first team in Premier League history to score two or more goals in eight straight halves of football.

Kai Havertz dashed down the wing before firing home Arsenal's fourth before the 25 minute mark to rub salt in the wound.

Mike Arteta's men are in in superb form, and it has come at the perfect time as the Liverpool and Manchester City continue to stay hot.

Declan Rice made it 5-0 before the break to put the cap on a thoroughly impressive half from the north London side.

Should they hold on to their emphatic lead and collect all three points, Arsenal will move back to within two points of the Jürgen Klopp's league leaders.
