Arsenal are just days away from kicking off their 2025-26 Premier League campaign with a massive showdown against Manchester United.

The Gunners should head to Old Trafford with renewed confidence after beating Athletic Club on Saturday to claim the Emirates Cup in their final pre-season test.

Viktor Gyokeres, Arsenal's big-money summer signing from Sporting CP, opened his account by breaking the deadlock at the Emirates Stadium, while Riccardo Calafiori and Kai Havertz both returned from injury to prove their fitness.

The good news for Mikel Arteta is that he does not have too many concerns as he bid to ensure the north London outfit start the season in the best possible way.

With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal injury news.

Leandro Trossard

The Belgian was absent from the matchday squad on Saturday afternoon as Arsenal beat Athletic Club 3-0 in their final pre-season friendly.

Trossard was one of three doubts ahead of the game, but both Kai Havertz and Riccardo Calafiori were passed fit to feature.

This means the forward has not played since injuring his groin in a pre-season defeat to north London rivals Tottenham last month.

He said: “I think he is going to be in a few days.

“He had a little niggle in the groin - but he should be fine.”

Potential return date: August 17, 2025 vs Manchester United (A)

Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel Jesus last featured for Arsenal in January’s FA Cup third round loss to Man United on penalties.

The Brazilian has struggled with knee issues throughout his stint in N5, and was forced to undergo yet another surgery on a torn cruciate ligament.

Potential return date: Autumn 2025
