FC Barcelona midfield star Fermin Lopez has been subject to a lot of transfer speculation in recent weeks. It has been mentioned that the player might be sold this summer.
The 22-year-old might not be a regular starter for Hansi Flick, but there is no doubt that he is one of the most important players for the German coach from a squad depth perspective.
Of the many La Masia graduates who have come through the academy and made it to the first team in recent seasons, Fermin represents a very unique profile.

Now, as per journalist Sebastien Vidal (via Give Me Sport), Arsenal have also made an enquiry to sign the Spanish midfielder this summer.
The Gunners are not alone in their interest in the Barcelona midfielder, with Chelsea and Manchester United also reportedly expressing interest in signing him this summer.
Fermin is very good on the ball and has the technical ability to hold his own even in a deeper position in midfield. However, he truly thrives as an attacking #10.
Not many players have the spatial and attacking awareness that Fermin is blessed with. His versatility makes him a very appealing option. Thus, it comes as no surprise that so many clubs are interested in signing him.
However, it is highly unlikely that Barcelona will let Fermin Lopez leave the club this summer. It remains to be seen how things play out in the coming weeks.
