Talks have been held between both clubs over a possible deal but Sky Sports claim Saudi sides, including Al Hilal, have now approached RB Leipzig for Sesko.

But Sky Sports are also reporting that Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi is still expected to sign for Arsenal this summer, who have an agreement in place.

Spanish newspaper Marca have today ran a front page story claiming the Real Sociedad star is “listening to Real Madrid”.

Sky Italy, meanwhile, say AC Milan have interest in Gunners defender Oleksandr Zinchenko, who was close to leaving the club in January before staying put.

Meanwhile, BBC Sport’s Nizaar Kinsella reports that a deal for Chelsea to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan is not expected to go through before tonight’s first transfer deadline ahead of the Club World Cup.

The French shot stopper is in the final year of his contract and the Blues are said to be unwilling to pay AC Milan’s asking price as it stands.

Chelsea are also hoping to sign winger Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund but it appears unlikely that it will be completed before the deadline for the Club World Cup.

Elsewhere, Portuguese outlet Record claim that Viktor Gyokeres has been left frustrated by Sporting CP’s demands over a fee for the striker, who has interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.

Manchester City are hoping to wrap up three deals before tonight’s transfer deadline – Rayan Cherki from Lyon, Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan and back-up goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli from Chelsea.

Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of midfielder Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland, who has followed in the footsteps of his older brother.

The Telegraph report that Milos Kerkez is set to join Liverpool from Bournemouth soon.

And Sky Sports claim Tottenham have stepped up their interest in Bournemouth’s winger Antoine Semenyo, while Manchester United are expected to go back in with an improved offer for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.
