Arsenal have confirmed defender Gabriel has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club long-term.
The Brazilian previous deal expired in 2027, but he has now inked new terms that reflect his standing in the squad.
Gabriel has become one of the Gunners' most important players since joining from Lille in September 2020, making 210 appearances, as well as chipping in with a very impressive 20 goals.
The 27-year-old was named in the 2023/24 Premier League Team of the Season, and was on course for a repeat this year prior to suffering a serious hamstring injury in April.
The injury required surgery but the centre-back is expected to be fit in time for the start of next season.
The news comes as a major boost to Mikel Arteta as Arsenal look to lock down their best players in addition to making new signings this summer.
