Manchester United winger Antony has become something of a fan favourite at Real Betis, where he remains on loan until the end of the season.

Having struggled to adapt to life at Old Trafford, the Brazilian was loaned out soon after manager Ruben Amorim took charge at Man United.

Since then, he has had somewhat of a career revival producing fine performances time after time for Betis.

In fact, he has become so impactful at the Spanish club that Betis are reportedly looking to keep Antony for another season.

But it isn’t only the club and its staff who are appreciating the Brazilian’s talent. It seems that Antony is quickly becoming a fan favourite at Betis.

Diario de Sevilla via Sport Witness revealed that Antony has become the most popular name on the back of club jerseys that have been sold since his arrival two months ago.

“He’s been the ‘absolute leader’ in shirt sales since he arrived at the club, seeing 1169 sold with his name printed on the back. To put it into context, he’s even outselling Isco right now,” the report read.

For United, Antony’s resurgence could prove incredibly beneficial.

With Amad Diallo still injured and Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford out on loan as well, United are short on wingers at present.

Should Antony decide to return to United in the summer, he would no doubt be able to fill in on the wing while perhaps even climbing up the ranks to solidify his place in Amorim’s team.

If United decide against keeping him, then perhaps Antony’s recent surge in form could help them to fetch a healthy price tag for the player.

Either way, Antony’s fine form can only be a good thing for United, particularly as the club looks to boost its squad depth and finances this summer.
