Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has reportedly arrived to hijack one big Chelsea transfer deal this month in a latest twist to one story.
There have been plenty of Chelsea transfer stories buzzing around this week as the January transfer window has really taken off and become a little bit dramatic.
Some people love a transfer window for this very reason, and others dislike it. But I think that we all just cannot help but get caught up in the entertainment side of all of this and the drama that it brings.
Not one single person would have predicted Chelsea to be linked with Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, but that is exactly what happened yesterday, with The Blues potentially looking to try and sign him in 2025.
They have also been strongly linked with wanting to bring back one of their former players, Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, during this transfer window. That could potentially be another big deal brewing up there.
So plenty happening, and throw in all the potential outgoing deals as well, in particular midfielder Cesare Casadei, who has seemingly got himself into a bit of a transfer saga.
Casadei is in a transfer saga
Gianluca Di Marzio, who has been reporting on this one all week and has been suggesting that it is Torino who are pushing hardest to sign him, now says that Napoli are potentially looking to come in and hijack this deal.
Di Marzio reports that Antonio Conte and Napoli have arrived to try and hijack Cesare Casadei from Torino!
This has most certainly turned into a saga but this time, a very good saga for Chelsea because the more clubs who come in for Casadei, then the more chance they have got of receiving the fee they want for him and a bidding war commencing.
