Andre Onana has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for his performances in September.
While September was a bad month for United, Onana kept two clean sheets and won one Man of the Match award for his solid display against Crystal Palace during our scoreless draw at Selhurst Park.
The Cameroon international produced an incredible double save to deny Eddie Nketiah and Ismaila Sarr as United secured a point away from home.
Furthermore, Onana saved a penalty in the 3-0 win over Southampton.
On top of being nominated for the Premier League award, Onana has been voted United’s Player of the Month, while Alejandro Garnacho picked up 47% of the vote.
United’s Goal of the Month award was handed to Christian Eriksen for his strike against FC Twente in the Europa League. The Denmark international scored three goals in September, including a brace in the 7-0 Carabao Cup win over Barnsley.
