After a long wait, Alexander Isak is finally going to be a Liverpool player.
He's had to wait some time to complete his dream move to Anfield. All summer long, both Richard Hughes and Isak took massive risks to make this deal happen.

The Swede risked his reputation and his legacy at Newcastle in order to force through his move to Anfield. Hughes waited until the final day of the window to agree a move in order to get the best possible deal for Liverpool.
Now Isak is going to be playing under Arne Slot and we simply cannot wait.
Obviously, given Isak's reputation, the expectations are going to be huge. Especially with the transfer fee making the deal a British record.
All eyes are going to be on him, which is a lot of pressure to deal with. But the omens are good.
That's because there's a little bit of an unknown fact about Isak that few people have spoken about. It's the fact that the Swede represented Willem II.
Back in the 2018/19 season he joined the Eredivisie side on loan. It would prove to be a turning point in his career. Up until that point Isak had been viewed as Borussia Dortmund flop.
But the youngster proved everyone wrong. He made 21 goal contributions in 18 matches for Willem II and then earned a move to Real Sociedad.
Why is this significant?
