Alessandro Bastoni’s Agent: “He’s A World Class Player, Can Win The Champions League With Inter Milan” | OneFootball

The agent of Alessandro Bastoni, Tulio Tinti, believes his client is a ‘world class player’ who can win the Champions League with Inter Milan this season.

Tinti made these statements in an interview with Radio Sportiva, as reported via FcInterNews.

Alessandro Bastoni was arguably the Man of The Match yesterday night when Inter Milan defeated Feyenoord 2-0 away in the first leg of the round of last 16 of the Champions League.

The Italy EURO 2020 winner, played as a left wingback. This as Federico Dimarco, Nicola Zalewski and Carlos Augusto are all injured.

“We Italians always praise foreigners. But he is a champion in his role” Tinti began.

“He has a left foot that even midfielders lack. On top of his physique and pace. He is a world class player. And he can win the Champions League with Inter” Tinti concluded.

Tinti was asked what he made of Simone Inzaghi comments yesterday. The Inter Milan coach pointed out that Inter’s objective is to win a treble.

“The record for number of wins in the Champions League give a nice sense of gratification. He [Inzaghi] has surpassed people like Mourinho and Herrera” Tinti continued.

In conclusion, Tinti added: “He is aware that he has a squad that follows him. He is convinced that he can go all the way. And so am I.”

Alessandro Bastoni signed for Inter Milan on the 31st of August 2017 from Atalanta for a reported fee of €31 million.

However, upon signing for Inter Milan, he was loaned out for two seasons to Atalanta. Bastoni made his debut for Inter ahead of the 2019/2020 season.

Therefore, to date, Bastoni has featured 239 times for Inter Milan across all competitions. He has scored five times in the process.

Subsequently, Alessandro Bastoni has won seven titles at Inter Milan, including two Serie A titles.

Furthermore, Bastoni was also part of the Inter Milan squads that reached the finals of the Europa League and Champions League.
