There is a growing feeling that Alejandro Garnacho’s time at Manchester United is coming to an end.

The winger made his frustrations clear following Manchester United’s 1-0 UEFA Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur, publicly blasting head coach Ruben Amorim for leaving him on the bench until the final 20 minutes.

He did not stop there. He also expressed disappointment in Manchester United’s poor season, pointing out that the team failed to beat any significant opponents.

To make matters worse, Garnacho hinted that he would consider his options this summer.

United open to selling Garnacho?

Reports relayed by The Peoples Person previously suggested that United were willing to cash in on Garnacho, but his latest outburst has only fueled those transfer links further.

Reputable transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has also indicated that United would let him go for the right price. And Amorim has also reportedly instructed the player to find a new club.

What’s next for Garnacho?

For a player who has recorded 11 goals and 10 assists in 58 appearances, and someone Erik ten Hag once described as having the “X factor” and the potential to become one of the world’s best, there is no shortage of interest from top clubs.

European sides such as Chelsea are reportedly monitoring his situation, while clubs from the Saudi Pro League are also expected to enter the race.

However, according to Defensa Central, Garnacho has his heart set on joining Real Madrid. He is likely keen on following in the footsteps of his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid the preferred destination

The Spanish outlet claims that the 20-year-old is frustrated at Manchester United and has instructed his agent to explore a move to Madrid.

They report that the Argentine international has lost patience following his Europa League final snub and now seeks an immediate change.

His agent is expected to contact Real Madrid to gauge their interest before considering other options.

United will be hoping Madrid take the opportunity to sign Garnacho this summer, but they would not mind if another club stepped in instead.

The young forward’s frequent outbursts, whether on social media or through interviews, can no longer be tolerated. Although he has apologized in the past, his repeated criticisms risk disrupting squad stability.

With Amorim eager to build a team that plays for one another, no player should be untouchable.

After all, no one is bigger than the club.
