Al Nassr rival PSG in race for Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr have entered the race to sign Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán (21).

The Colombian striker has been coveted by Paris Saint-Germain during the current transfer window as the French side look to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the season.

PSG believed they were close to agreeing personal terms with Durán’s entourage. However, convincing Aston Villa to part ways with the forward was proving far more difficult, as the English club reportedly rejected a verbal offer of €75 million.

PSG are not the only European club looking at Durán. The Telegraph wrote that West Ham saw an offer of about €67 million rejected.

Aouna writes that Durán is very interested in the Saudi Arabian club. However, it will have to be seen whether Al Nassr can do what West Ham and PSG have failed so far to do; convince Aston Villa.
