Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal have officially parted ways with manager Jorge Jesus.
In an official statement released by the club, the Board of Directors cited an agreement with the Portuguese headmaster to 'terminate the contractual relationship between them."
The board also expressed their appreciation for efforts made by the 70-year-old, with Al-Za'eem currently sitting second in the league table and six points adrift of rivals Al-Ittihad with time remaining in the 2024/25 campaign.
His departure from Kingdom Arena comes in the wake of the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) viewing the former Benfica and Sporting CP manager as a front-running candidate for the Brazil job.
Jesus racked up a 100-18-11 record across all competitions during two separate stints with Al-Hilal, leading the club to Saudi Pro League and King Cup honours in 2023/24, as well as a trio of Saudi Super Cup wins in 2018, 2023, and 2024 respectively.
