Olga Ahtinen’s stunning strike against Crystal Palace has been shortlisted for the September’s Goal of the Month by the Barclays Women’s Super League.

The Finland international opened her account for the 2024/25 in style. After some excellent build-up play down the right-hand side, Olga picked up the ball from around 20 yards out and sent a powerful effort into the top left corner.

Robert Vilahamn has also been shortlisted for September’s WSL Manager of the Month after picking up four points in our opening two games against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.

Bethany England is also up for the WSL Player of the Month award for September after two goal involvements in our two games in the month, including scoring an injury-time equaliser at Villa Park to secure a point.
