Theo Hernández’s future at AC Milan is uncertain, with contract extension talks hitting a standstill and sparking interest from top clubs looking to bolster their defense in 2025.
After signing Lucas Hernández last year, Paris Saint-Germain could shift their attention to Theo. Bringing in the talented left-back would strengthen PSG’s defensive lineup, adding depth and competition to keep Nuno Mendes performing at his best.
Hernández remains a vital player for AC Milan, and the club is keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer. A November report from AS indicates that Milan’s management is focused on securing a renewal but may be open to a sale if negotiations don’t progress.
This situation has already drawn interest from Europe’s heavyweights. PSG and Bayern Munich are closely monitoring developments, while new reports suggest Manchester United is also considering a move for the Serie A standout.

AC Milan are reportedly willing to sell their captain but are holding out for at least €50 million, with Real Madrid and Manchester United keeping a close eye on the situation, according to Calciomercato.
The newest report that confirms AC Milan’s willingness to sell the Frenchman is La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Diario AS). According to the Italian media outlet, there is ongoing discussion about the level of performance Hernández is showing this season.
Moreover, the report notes that the Frenchman’s contract expires in 2026, but renewal talks have stalled. The player wants to stay, but AC Milan are no longer opposed to a sale, even in the upcoming winter market, for less than €50 million.
Meanwhile, Rúben Amorim has prioritized bolstering Manchester United’s left-back position, with Alphonso Davies and Hernández identified as key targets, Sky Sports Germany reports.
