FC Barcelona are facing significant challenges with the registration of Pau Víctor and Dani Olmo. The pair, who joined the club in the summer, were initially registered on a temporary basis following an injury to Andreas Christensen, but the situation remains unresolved as the season progresses.

Dani Olmo, in particular, has been a marquee signing for Barcelona. The 26-year-old hit the ground running with a stellar start to the season, though his performances, like those of the team as a whole, have dipped in recent weeks. Nevertheless, Olmo continues to be one of the most influential players in Hansi Flick’s setup.

What sets Olmo apart is his exceptional ability to operate in the spaces between the lines. His proficiency in the number 10 role, orchestrating play, and creating opportunities for his teammates, is a rare skill that few in world football can match.

For Barcelona, his presence remains crucial as they strive to regain their rhythm and consistency this season.

It is worth mentioning that Olmo has a clause in his contract that he can trigger to become a free agent and permanently move to some other club for absolutely nothing but the player seems determined to continue at Barcelona.

It has now emerged that if he does not get registered, it could also hamper his chances of playing for the Spanish national team. Thus, it feels like in all likelihood, if they fail to register the €60m-rated midfielder, Barcelona might look for a temporary option.

Now, as per SPORT, AC Milan are willing to offer the talented Barcelona midfield star a potential temporary way out and are willing to take him on a six-month loan deal after which he can return to the Catalan club.

Barcelona only see this as a worst-case option as they still maintain hope to register both the 26-year-old and Pau Víctor. The Catalan club is taking the judicial route and how it plays out might turn out to be interesting.

Irrespective of what happens to Dani Olmo going forward, this situation has not been handed well by the club. Let’s wait and see if Barcelona somehow manage to register these two players in the coming days and put the issue to rest.
