AC Milan have identified Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko as a potential replacement for Theo Hernandez, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
Hernandez looks set to leave this summer after he rejected a contract extension offer due to a lower salary.
Milan have an agreement in place with Al-Hilal over his transfer for €35 million, but the move is about to collapse as he has rebuffed the offer.
Atletico Madrid are showing concrete interest in him. They have submitted a bid worth €15 million for their former player, but Milan want more.
They have started shortlisting targets to replace the Frenchman, and Zinchenko is the latest player linked to the club.
Following a successful spell at Manchester City, Zinchenko moved to the Emirates Stadium in 2022.
He has recorded 91 appearances for the club. However, injuries restricted him to just five starts out of 15 Premier League appearances this season.
The Gunners could be open to selling him this summer as he is entering the final year of his contract.
Zinchenko is tempted to seek out a new venture to get his career back on track after falling down the pecking order at Arsenal.
The Rossoneri will be aiming to return to form next season, and a player of Zinchenko’s quality and experience could be of vital significance to the squad.
The Italian giants are exploring a move for Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso, who is wanted by Man City and Atletico.
