AC MILAN CELEBRATES ITS 125TH ANNIVERSARY: AN EMOTIONAL NIGHT FOR THE SAN SIRO CROWD | OneFootball

On the occasion of the match against Genoa, which takes place the day before the exact date of its 125th Anniversary, AC Milan is thrilled to announce the program of celebrations for this magical evening. The agenda is packed with activities and initiatives that will engage all the Rossoneri family and the entire San Siro crowd.

HALL OF FAME PRESENTED BY EMIRATES The schedule will begin at 19:45 with a special award ceremony honouring Rossoneri Legends inducted into the AC Milan Hall of Fame presented by Emirates. Selected by fans through a dedicated vote, Marco van Basten, Filippo Inzaghi and Andriy Shevchenko will join Honorary Vice President Franco Baresi - the first official inductee of the Hall of Fame - in the selection dedicated to the players who have significantly contributed to Rossoneri history.

On the San Siro pitch, Baresi, Van Basten, and Inzaghi will receive a special trophy crafted for the occasion by Tiffany & Co., marking a first in Italian football history. This will be a deeply emotional moment for all AC Milan fans, celebrating their Legends on a night dedicated to Rossoneri's history and passion. Shevchenko, unable to attend for personal reasons, will be honoured in a future ceremony.

OFFICIAL 125th ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY The magical night will continue around 20:30, after the teams' warm-ups, with the official ceremony marking AC Milan's 125th Anniversary.

San Siro will host an exciting sequence of events featuring sounds, music, light shows, iconic figures, and thrilling scenes, narrated by the unmistakable voice of renowned Italian actor and dubber Luca Ward. Young players from AC Milan's Youth Sector will take centre stage in this special narrative, offering the San Siro crowd an up-close experience of this unique storytelling.

As emotions reach a peak, AC Milan's official speaker Germano Lanzoni – also known as Gegio – will introduce Rossoneri Legends onto the San Siro pitch to be embraced by the crowd's warmth. Alongside Baresi, van Basten and Inzaghi, other Legends such as Gullit, Rijkaard, Pato, and Seedorf will be present to showcase the numerous cups and trophies won during AC Milan's glorious history.

The event will also feature the world-renowned Italian electronic music trio Meduza, performing at San Siro for the first time in their career. Fresh off appearances at some of the world's leading festivals, their music will elevate the pre-match show into a unique experience celebrating the Rossoneri's historic milestone.

The creative direction for the 125th Anniversary show has been entrusted to Sergio Pappalettera, a renowned artistic director who has worked on major events and tours for major artists. The event's executive production will be handled by STS Communication, a well-known full-production company coordinating all technological and operational aspects of the show.

ANNIVERSARY KIT Tomorrow's match against Genoa will also feature the debut of the Anniversary kit for the men's First Team, created to celebrate AC Milan's 125th Anniversary. Designed in collaboration with PUMA and with the help of Rossoneri fans worldwide, who played an active role in choosing key design elements, the kit pays tribute to AC Milan's long history with traditional features and timeless references to the Club's iconic style.

FONDAZIONE MILAN AC Milan is also leading numerous social initiatives alongside Fondazione Milan to celebrate the Holiday season. Thanks to the support of Principal Partner Emirates, during the AC Milan v Genoa match, Fondazione Milan will give 10 children from socially vulnerable backgrounds in Milan the opportunity to walk onto the field as little mascots alongside the players.

Additionally, as previously announced, €2 from every ticket sold for the Genoa match will be donated to charitable initiatives. On Monday 16 December alone, €3 from every special-price admission to the Mondo Milan Museum will also be donated to Fondazione Milan's accessibility programs: "Milan for Everyone" and "Sport for All", which promote inclusivity and accessibility in the Club.
