One £19m Chelsea attacker is reportedly considered part of the club’s first team squad under Enzo Maresca despite not playing for them yet.

Chelsea have a huge squad and so far it’s been needed. They were able to send a squad largely filled with academy players to play in the Europa Conference League last week rather than risk the majority of the first team players. And they went over there and got a comfortable win. Players such as Axel Disasi and Tosin Adarabioyo played in this game and these are players who are part of the deep squad depth that they have at the club.

Striker Marc Guiu can also be considered as one of those excellent deep cover options, scoring two goals on the night to see The Blues cruise past Astana winning 3-1.

There is another player who will be part of the first team squad as well apparently, but he has so far been out injured since he arrived at the club in the summer.

Kellyman part of first team squad

Kellyman has only ever featured briefly for Chelsea youth

A sourced report from GIVEMESPORT this week claims that both Guiu and Omari Kellyman are also considered to be part of the first-team squad at Chelsea.

Kellyman has recently recovered from an injury he picked up shortly after moving to Stamford Bridge from Aston Villa in a £19m deal in the summer, that was part of another deal seeing Ian Maatsen head the other way.

No Chelsea fan has yet seen Kellyman play football unless of course they followed him before at Villa. But the majority who probably didn’t follow him, have no idea what to expect and whether the claim that he is part of the first team has any weight to it. Time will only tell on this one.
