Club América have not renewed the contracts of three of their key players, which could result in not only a multi-million dollar loss, but the club would be much weaker as a whole.

Henry Martín, Giovani Dos Santos, and Luis Fuentes are six months away from ending their contract. Due to FIFA rules, they are currently free to negotiate with any other team and sign a pre-contract agreement.

According to values on Transfermarkt, Martín is worth about $4.2m, while Dos Santos has a current value of around $2.1m.

Meanwhile, Fuentes is worth around $1m, a decline from his maximum value of $2.4m, a factor that mainly has to do with him being 34 years old.

All in all, América are at risk of losing over seven million dollars worth of players, and with the current financial situation due to the effects of COVID-19, they could surely use the money.
