CELTIC have been given an ‘improper conduct’ fine from UEFA as a result of picking up yellow cards in the 2-2 draw away to Lille. A seven thousand (7000) euro fine has been given to the Scottish Champions as a result of Scott Bain, Diego Laxalt, Moi Elyounoussi, Olivier Ntcham and Albian Ajeti all being booked and now UEFA have decided to charge Neil Lennon’s side under Article 15(4) of the governing body’s rules, stating that the Celtic players were guilty of ‘improper conduct’.

The Europa League has been a forgettable experience for Celtic this year, losing twice at home with an aggregate score of 7-2. Being beaten twice at home and sitting bottom of Group H, despite being the top seed.
