Beckham, who spent five years in MLS with LA Galaxy towards the latter part of his playing career, is president and co-owner of the Miami franchise.

The Florida side will begin their debut season in MLS in March, and they are looking for a big-name signing to bolster head coach Diego Alonso’s squad.

Griezmann has previously intimated that he would like to play in the United States before hanging up his boots.

However, at 28 years of age and with Euro 2020 on the horizon for the France international, the idea of him leaving the Nou Camp for a fledgling club is laughable.

It’s a nice PR stunt by Beckham and Co, but we hope for their sake they have some more realistic targets on their transfer shortlist.
