“I don’t think Roma will be able to root for Atalanta in the Europa League final. There is too much rivalry between the two clubs,” said the Polish executive.

“With De Rossi in charge, Roma did some extraordinary things at a moment when nobody expected them to. However, it seems to me that they’re out of gas now and when you’re low on energy, your mind becomes slow, too.”

“The last two games with Genoa and Empoli will be far from easy. Roma must focus on the task at hand and think about the future later on.”

“The transfer market? The club will know what to do. But that’s why I say it is important to focus on the last two games of the season. Because the ability to keep a player when you’re playing in the Champions League makes a difference.”
