St Pauli have sealed their return to the Bundesliga after a 12-year absence.

Fabian Hürzeler’s side have been in the second tier since being demoted at the end of the 2011/12 campaign.

But Sunday’s 3-1 win over an already relegated Osnabrück ensured the Kiezkicker will be back in the Bundesliga next term.

The Hamburg-based club join second-placed Holstien Kiel, who clinched a first-ever promotion on Saturday, in moving up to the German top flight.
