Roma are still not convinced of Tammy Abraham as long-term option following his recent return from an ACL injury.
The capital club were on the verge of selling the Englishman before he went down injured on the last matchday of the 22/23 season.
Fast forward to a year later, the Giallorossi are now faced with a difficult situation as Abraham does not seem to fit Daniele De Rossi’s plans but the injury has caused the player to lose considerable interest from clubs on the transfer market.
According to Il Tempo, all signs point to Abraham staying at Roma one more year.
However, the newspaper also adds that the club will evaluate his future during Roma’s pre-season training camp. Only then will the Giallorossi make a decision on whether to part ways or not with the striker who joined from Chelsea in 2021.
