Arsenal entertained Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a decent start to the contest and scored the opener in the 45th minute thanks to Bukayo Saka’s penalty. Mikel Arteta‘s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Leandro Trossard doubled Arsenal’s advantage in the 70th minute before Declan Rice killed the game when he got his name on the scoresheet in injury time. The match ended with the Gunners earning an impressive 3-0 victory at the Emirates.

LB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – 8/10

He kept things solid when defending inside his half and made two inviting chances for his teammates.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 7/10

Odegaard made a few driving runs with the ball but there was no goal for him.

CM: Thomas Partey – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well and had some lively moments in the opponent’s half.

CM: Declan Rice – 8.5/10

The England international caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 8/10

Saka was a constant menace in the final third and did well to open the goal-scoring from the penalty spot in the 45th minute.

ST: Kai Havertz – 8/10

Havertz was a real handful for the Bournemouth defenders but failed to find the back of the net this afternoon.

Trossard was not shy of having a strike at goal and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 70th minute.
