OH Leuven decide against extending contract for versatile veteran

OH Leuven have announced that Joren Dom will be departing the club at the end of the season. The former Beerschot man joined the side two years ago after his then side had been relegated from the Belgian Pro League. The 34-year-old played 62 games for OH Leuven in the past two years.

Dom may well link up with his former side Beerschot who have just won promotion to the Pro League by winning the Belgian second tier. He remains a versatile veteran player, able to play as central midfielder or as a right sided defender. Dom has spent his entire career in Belgium, playing for the likes of Antwerp, Rupel Boom and FCV Dender. The latter could also be another option for Dom, with promotion to the Pro League secured and a small budget to try and avoid relegation.
