Serie A giants Juventus have now sacked Max Allegri despite the Italian helping the club to silverware by beating Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final.

The Bianconeri have announced that Allegri has departed the club after it was reported yesterday that the club were considering the sack following the manager’s actions after the win in Roma against La Dea. He confronted the referees, had a spat with the club’s management and also had a physical confrontation with a senior Tuttosport journalist.

Allegri was anyway set to depart the club in the summer after the season was ending but his actions after the Coppa Italia win seem to have rushed Juve into making a decision because of his behaviour.

The Italian departs the club while having become the most successful manager in Coppa Italia history with fife titles and while he didn’t win any other trophy in his second club, he is one of the most successful managers in the Old Lady history.
