Jadon Sancho impressed once again on Tuesday as Borussia Dortmund beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on aggregate to book a place in the Champions League final last night.

The Bundesliga giants headed to France with a one-goal advantage courtesy of Niclas Fullkrug’s strike in the reverse fixture.

Dortmund frustrated PSG at the Parc des Princes with a brilliant defensive display before Mats Hummels rose highest to head the ball home after 50 minutes.

Edin Terzic’s side eventually got over the line, although they were lucky not to concede considering their opponents hit the woodwork four times.

Sancho, who delivered an excellent display in the Signal Iduna Park encounter, shone in the second leg of the semi-final.

The 24-year-old started on the right wing and was on the pitch for 67 minutes before being replaced by Niklas Sule.

Sancho had 38 touches in the game and completed 17 of his 22 passes, managing a pass completion rate of 77%.

He also completed three dribbles and won four ground duels, although he lost possession on 13 occasions.

The England international has made a decent turnaround since rejoining Dortmund in January, registering three goals and two assists in 18 appearances across all competitions.
