Ahead of the Premier League season kicking off, few would have had Luton Town down as the most entertaining side in the Premier League.
However, Rob Edwards’ side have certainly been up there despite still struggling to stay in the division.
Now, they have matched a bonkers Premier League stat, and could yet beat it before the end of the campaign.
Two goals in 10 minutes against Everton, one for each side, means that the Hatters have now scored and conceded in 29 of their 36 games this season, a massive 81% of their Premier League campaign.
It is a joint-record with Swindon Town and Southampton, and something that hasn’t been done in 29 years.
They could yet be standalone record holders by the end of the season, with two games left to play.
Despite the excitement their games bring, Edwards will be hoping that their defensive frailties aren’t what see them head down in a fortnights time.
