Barcelona are a constant source of news these days, and it seems there are very few secrets in Catalonia, at least when it comes to the day to day running of the club. One source of leaks comes from the very top of the heirarchy.

Agent Pini Zahavi, who President Joan Laporta has referred to as a good friend, and represents Robert Lewandowski, had reportedly become frustrated with the continual leaks, and decided to test out just how porous the walls in Can Barca are. According to Bar Canaletes, Zahavi told Robert Lewandowski to send the same message to President Joan Laporta and Sporting Director Deco, to see if and how long it would take to get out into the public domain.

According to their information, within ten minutes of the message being sent, the information was circulating on Twitter, illustrating just how open one of Deco or Laporta is with their contacts in the media.

It has not been confirmed by other outlets, and it is not yet clear what the story was, but if it is true, it’s a startling show of how things are operating in Barcelona. Neither is it hard to believe, given the almost constant flow of information into the four main sporting outlets in Spain.
