Euro 2024 is almost here and Germany is preparing to host it’s first major tournament since 2006. We’ve got all of the details for the Stuttgart Arena, Stuttgart ahead of a summer full of international football.

Olympiastadion, Berlin will host five games at Euro 2024, including the first quarter final on July 5. The stadium was renovated in January, making it one of the most modern in European football and is the home ground for Bundesliga side, VfB Stuttgart.

Notable Events

Stuttgart Arena has hosted games at multiple international tournaments over the years, starting at the 1974 World Cup where it hosted four games. Euro 1988 was the next international tournament at Stuttgart Arena, where two matches took place.

The 2006 World Cup saw six games take place in Stuttgart, including England’s 1-0 victory over Colombia in the Round of 16 and the Third Place Playoff between Germany and Portugal.

The stadium has also played host to domestic finals, including the 1959 and 1988 European Cup finals.
