Leicester cruise through in Denmark

Scorers: Odey 84′; Barnes 2′, Maddison 70′, 74′

Leicester already seemed to have their foot in the next round after a dominant performance at King Power Stadium.

And they took it a step further early into the second leg with Harvey Barnes scoring against Randers just two minutes into the game.

However, as the first 45 minutes went on the hosts found a few ways to test Kasper Schmeichel yet still couldn’t put anything past the goalkeeper.

Coming out into the second half, the visitors continued to be the more clinical side as they hunted for a second and eventually a trademark James Maddison free-kick doubled the lead.

The 25-year-old’s impact on the match then wouldn’t stop there as he went on to secure a brace only four minutes later.

Randers did, however, erase any clean sheet hopes for Leicester late in the game through Stephen Odey to see things end 3-1.

Celtic knocked out of Europe

Scorers: Solbakken 9′, Vetlesen 69′

Celtic needed to pull off a big win in Norway if they hoped to keep their European dreams alive.

But things got off to a poor start for the visitors with the hosts taking total control of the match right from the first whistle.

As such, Ola Solbakken put his side in front to keep Bodø Glimt in the driver’s seat.

After 45 minutes of action, the Scottish side had only registered one shot in comparison to 11 from their opponents.  And while Celtic increased their productivity in the second half they couldn’t find a way to pull off a miracle.

Instead, to make matters worse, Hugo Vetlesen went on to put a second past Joe Hart ensuring the hosts move on to the next round.
