Chelsea are planning a major move for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez this summer.
In fact, according to Miguel Rico in COPE, the London club is ready to offer Fermin a staggering €15 million net salary, which is more than double his current €6 million at Barça.
This shows how serious Chelsea are about landing the talented midfielder and convincing him to leave the Catalan club.
Fermin’s name started making headlines after reports suggested Chelsea are preparing a €50 million bid.
Their manager, Enzo Maresca, has already reached out to the player twice, trying to persuade him to join the Premier League side.
While Fermin has always expressed his love for Barcelona, recent events appear to have made him rethink his future.
Notably, he did not play a single minute in the match against Levante last Saturday, leaving him frustrated and open to new possibilities.

The club has tried to get in touch with the midfielder throughout the day, but so far, he has not responded.
His silence has been interpreted as a sign that he is seriously considering Chelsea’s offer. If he decides to make the move, his salary would jump from €6 million to €15 million, a significant financial incentive.
While Fermin’s loyalty to Barcelona remains clear, players in his position often face tough decisions when top European clubs come knocking with high offers.
Chelsea’s willingness to pay such a high salary underlines their financial muscle, and Fermin’s next move could be a defining moment for both clubs.
As of now, everything points to a potential summer transfer, but nothing has been finalised.
Barcelona will continue to monitor the situation closely, hoping to retain one of their brightest talents, while Chelsea appear determined to secure him at almost three times his current earnings.
