Atlético Madrid name Álvaro Morata asking price | OneFootball

Confirmation of the demands laid out by the powers that be at Atlético Madrid for striker Álvaro Morata has today been forthcoming.

As much comes amid mounting speculation that Morata could be on the move once more this summer.

Chatter surrounding the future of the Spanish international came back to the fore in a major way this past weekend.

This came upon Morata bidding what many suggested was a farewell to the Atlético fanbase, on the back of the club’s final home outing of the campaign.

It has since been reported by a number of sources that the 31-year-old’s sale is indeed being taken into consideration, as Diego Simeone and co. eye a shake-up to the attacking ranks at the Wanda Metropolitano.

And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, an insight into the kind of fee which will be required to coax Atléti into a deal has been provided.

As per a report from Relevo transfer insider Matteo Moretto, the Rojiblancos board will point any and all parties interested in Morata’s services to the release clause included in the striker’s contract.

The clause in question is set at an altogether reasonable €15 million.
